• Close grained cast iron with BHN 190-210 is used for fabricating the top and bottom plates and centre blocks.
• After pre-machining, the castings are stress relieved and sent for final finishing, where these are fine finish ground / hand scraped for providing the requisite degree of accuracy.
• Chrome alloy steel hardened to HRC 58-60 is applied for the making of roller and slip gauge platform. After rough grinding, these are stabilized, followed by final finishing. It undergoes finish ground and then fine finish ground / lapped for getting the requisite degree of accuracy.
• IS: 5979-1970 is applied while manufacturing sine bench centres, so that accuracy in workmanship, finish and function can be guaranteed.
